Ustas is the Software Medical Device (SMD) for performing free-field airborne speech audiometry tests. The solution is accessed by the specialist via web, while the use of a tablet allows the patient to carry out the tests, simulating close-to-real listening conditions. By simulating close-to-real listening conditions, speech audiometry tests allow for estimation of the potential quantitative and qualitative improvement in case of a patient using a rehabilitation device. The application is simple and intuitive, and the user interface is specifically designed to ensure that user experience is also suitable for paediatric patients performing tests over extended periods of time.
